Do you ever watch a TV show and realize that one of the characters has botched a line but they leave it in anyway? I watch the medical shows and am not a doctor at all, never took a single medical class. But I’ve been around enough people who have been sick or hurt to learn some of the language of the medical community.

I watched the Grey’s Anatomy show tonight and the Chief of Surgery was talking about a patient who died. He botched the line which was mostly medical mumbo jumbo. But I caught it and have to laugh. Even after all the time on the set and in the series, the actor didn’t realize or even have a clue as to what he was saying. After all – he is just an actor and doesn’t need to know the difference, right? No, that’s wrong. Just an actor – who either made a slip of the tongue mistake or who doesn’t care enough about his job to check things out.
