Cracker barrel

November 24, 2011 // Posted in Good Food (Tags: , , , , ) |  No Comments

We are having Thanksgiving dinner at Cracker Barrel. The food is awesome and we don’t have a mess to clean up or ten tons of fucking leftovers to eat until we are nauseous. I love Thanksgiving, but I hate having nothing to eat but left overs for days on end afterwards. lol Now it is not a problem since we decided to eat out. Pig out till you puke ! lol

Chocolate Overload

Not enough kids came trick or treating to my house on Halloween. So I have this huge bowl of candy left over. Of course I am going to eat it all. The question is, how fast is it going to disappear?

Pork Chops And

Finsih this phrase: Pork chops and _________________

For me I would say pork chops and applesauce. That is because of a line from a TV show back in the 70′s called “The Brady Bunch.” They had an episode where the boys were kdding around saying “pork chops and applesauce” in a funny way. And it has stuck with me all these years.

This was something I saw on a TV show as a kid and it sticks with me even today. Amazing.

Meet Me for Lunch

We were talking at lunch about the best place to meet someone for the first time. So many first dates seem to focus on dinner and a movie. I sometimes don’t want to spend that much time with someone on a first or second date. Especially if you have only chatted online a few times or had friends set you up on a blind date.

I think that a good first date is a lunch date. Now, I’m all up for a free dinner. But lunch is so much more casual, so limited on time, and still daylight out. I think it makes for a better chance to get to know someone and see if there is any chemistry.

No Fried Chicken

There used to be lots of places to buy fried chicken around here. Of course, everyone has a Kentucky Fried Chicken place. But we also had Mrs. Winners, Church’s, Popeye’s and a couple others. For some reason all the ones around me – within a 15 minute drive – have closed except for the KFC. What’s up with that?
