Tastes like shit

Ok, I love seafood, but Captain D’s tastes like shit. Seriously, don’t eat there if you can help it. The food was greasy as hell and my friends and I had to take all of the food back and get a refund. Maybe it was the particular restaurant, but I doubt it. Next time we go to Long John Silvers or Red Lobsters in my opinion as the Captain Ds around here just does not taste as good as others.

I for one would have rather have had Mc Donalds than eat that stuff I got at Captain Ds so that should tell all my friends and family just how bad it was which is sad because usually when I eat there at Captain Ds the food is great. Well enough blogging about it time to get back on the toilet to get the rest of this shit of of my system.

Fucking hung over

Last nights party was fucking great, but I am so hung over. We went out bar hopping and hit about tree different places. I played some pool with a really hot guy at one place, but my friends wanted to go somewhere else and I forgot to get his number. Happy New Year people.

I think today has got to be one in which a lot of coffee is drank around the World as everyone is trying to wake up from the partying and celebrating they did for the new year. I for one am blessed as I have a Starbucks just less than 3 minutes drive from where i am at now. Since getting the Starbucks rewards card I have had over 10 free drinks this year alone which should tell you jsut how much coffee i have been drinking.

Not enough kids came trick or treating to my house on Halloween. So I have this huge bowl of candy left over. Of course I am going to eat it all. The question is, how fast is it going to disappear?

Botched Lines

Do you ever watch a TV show and realize that one of the characters has botched a line but they leave it in anyway? I watch the medical shows and am not a doctor at all, never took a single medical class. But I’ve been around enough people who have been sick or hurt to learn some of the language of the medical community.

I watched the Grey’s Anatomy show tonight and the Chief of Surgery was talking about a patient who died. He botched the line which was mostly medical mumbo jumbo. But I caught it and have to laugh. Even after all the time on the set and in the series, the actor didn’t realize or even have a clue as to what he was saying. After all – he is just an actor and doesn’t need to know the difference, right? No, that’s wrong. Just an actor – who either made a slip of the tongue mistake or who doesn’t care enough about his job to check things out.

For me I would say pork chops and applesauce. That is because of a line from a TV show back in the 70′s called “The Brady Bunch.” They had an episode where the boys were kdding around saying “pork chops and applesauce” in a funny way. And it has stuck with me all these years.

This was something I saw on a TV show as a kid and it sticks with me even today. Amazing.

A Bad Day

When I have a bad day at work, its mostly just me getting stressed out or frustrated with people who didn’t do what they promised or people made a big mistake that I have to fix. But at least no one’s life is in jeopardy. At least I am not a doctor who has to deal with life or death problems. At least I am not a lawyer who could face a wrongful conviction. At least I am not a pilot responsible for an airplane full of passengers.

Meet Me for Lunch

We were talking at lunch about the best place to meet someone for the first time. So many first dates seem to focus on dinner and a movie. I sometimes don’t want to spend that much time with someone on a first or second date. Especially if you have only chatted online a few times or had friends set you up on a blind date.

I think that a good first date is a lunch date. Now, I’m all up for a free dinner. But lunch is so much more casual, so limited on time, and still daylight out. I think it makes for a better chance to get to know someone and see if there is any chemistry.

Cheap Flip Flops

When summer started, all the stores had flip flops out on the racks. I was trying to find a particular kind of flip flop and searched sto rends of stores. I found flip flops for $2 at WalMart and some for as much as $35 at Macy’s. But I wanted a special kind of sole that doesn’t wear down as quickly as the cheap ones and could not find them anywhere. So I bought 4 pairs of $2 flip flops at WalMart and I have to throw out 1 pair every month because they wear out. But that gets me through most of the summer, and if I can find the ones I really like then I will stock up on those when I find them.
